Revolutionary Female Product, LaFemme, Featured in the March Issue of COSMO GIRL Magazine
LaFemme,
a patented disposable female urination device (FUD) allows females of all ages
the opportunity to use the toilet while standing. The perfect product for
unsanitary restroom conditions. The manufacturers claim that "LaFemme®
disposable paper product gives women and their small daughters the ability to
urinate into any unsanitary public toilet while standing and facing the bowl,
and do it with convenience, confidence and dignity. No more "hovering" over
the seat. No need to cover the seat with strips of toilet paper. And no need
to seek an alternate restroom. Best of all, you simply drop our paper product
into the toilet and flush it away when you are finished."
The product is presently
undergoing field testing by United States military units overseas. The tests
are being conducted during actual military operations in Iraq and Kuwait by
female U.S. Army personnel. What was once "A line drawn in the sand", may now
become a name written in the sand! PRWEB, in California reported that
LaFemme the revolutionary patented female urination device (FUD), that allows
females of all ages the opportunity to use the toilet while standing, is
featured in Hearst Magazines’ COSMO GIRL, March 2004 issue. The issue features
16 year old star Hilary Duff on the cover. Duff has a number one album to her
credit, is known as Lizzie McGuire, and is preparing to launch her own
fashion, beauty and home-goods line this spring at Target. Jay Leno
remarked during his Tonight Show
monologue, "Here's something a little unusual... I'll try to explain this
as delicately as I can. A man in New York has invented a paper product that
he says will allow women to use a urinal the same way a man would. So, I
guess that means they're gonna miss it completely too, now!"
United States talk show host and comedian Joan Rivers has said,
"The thing I like most about LaFemme®
is I can now become a real stand up comic!".The product is shown on page
102 of COSMO GIRL and is featured in a story called “How Clean Is
That Can?”, and is written by Senior Editor, Kierna Mayo. The article
discusses the amount of germs that women are potentially exposed to when they
use a public restroom. LaFemme is designed to help cut down on the exposure to
germs by allowing women the ability to stand and not sit on a dirty seat when
they use the toilet.
Research
also shows that because of the fact that
public toilets are dirty, women may opt to
avoid a public restroom and wait until they can find a more suitable location.
This has the potential to cause health risks associated with not using the
toilet in a timely fashion.
Photo: Inventor Bill Cicio appeared as a guest on the nationally syndicated Sally Jessy Raphael Show in New York City and spoke about his LaFemme® product. Upon learning the nature and purpose of the tiny paper device, the mostly female audience erupted in applause and cheers.
